Travel info

By Car:
Torino can be easily reached from all over Europe by means of 5 motorways: A32 Torino - Frèjus from France; A5 Torino - Monte Bianco from France and Switzerland; A4 Torino - Milano - Venezia from Central and Eastern Europe; A6 Torino - Savona from Liguria and the south of France; A21 Torino - Piacenza from Central and Southern Italy. All motorways link up with the Torino ring road (tangenziale), from where you can easily reach the city centre. -
By Train:
Torino is an important railway hub and guarantees fast connections to the whole of Europe. Furthermore, high speed services are available to Milan, Rome, Lyon and Paris. Torino has four railway stations, two of which are international - Porta Nuova and Porta Susa - in two different zones of the city centre.
Porta Nuova: corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 53
Porta Susa: piazza XXVIII Dicembre, 8
Lingotto: via Pannunzio, 1
Stazione Dora: piazza Baldissera -
By Plane:
The Sandro Pertini International Airport at Turin (Torino) Caselle is situated 16 km from the city centre and has very good connections with many European cities, including many low cost options.
Overseas participants arriving at the major Europeans hub, usually have a connecting flight to Torino Airport within two hours.
There is a bus connecting every 15/30 minutes (weekdays/weekends) the Airport to downtown Torino, near the Porta Nuova Railway Station, from 5:15 to 22:30. The Bus company is called SADEM and the cost is 6.50 euros if you buy it from the airport machines, or 7.50 if you buy it directly from the driver.
Taxis are available too: approximate cost is 40 euros from the airport to downtown.
Do not use the train from the airport because the line ends in a small station far away from downtown.

Main hotels and the venue are within walking distance from Porta Nuova Railway Station. We recommend participants not to rent a car, unless they are planning out of town excursions. Traffic is heavy in Torino, parking is difficult and there is a very good network of public transportation.
